Privacy Policy

1. Scope

This policy covers the Rawisee studio website (rawisee.com), our marketing pages, and the information you share with us by email or through our contact form when inquiring about a project.

Rawisee's own products (such as Recurrly) are governed by their own privacy policies. If you are a user of one of our products, see the policy linked from inside that product.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact form / email: name, email address, company, and the contents of your message when you reach out about a project or partnership.
• Client engagement materials: project briefs, brand assets, credentials, and any files you share with us during a paid engagement.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, user-agent, referring URL, and timestamp of requests, retained for security and debugging.
• Anonymous analytics: aggregated page views and navigation events, used to understand which pages help visitors and which do not. We do not link analytics to your name or email.

We do not use cross-site advertising trackers and we do not sell personal information.

3. How We Use Information

• Reply to your inquiry and scope a potential engagement
• Deliver the work you have hired us to do
• Send invoices and process payment for engagements
• Improve the studio website based on aggregate, anonymous usage patterns
• Detect abuse, spam, and security incidents

4. Sharing

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the studio — for example, our email host, our website host, and analytics. Each acts under contract and may only process your data for purposes we direct.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or restructuring of the business. We will give reasonable notice where we are permitted to do so.

5. Storage and Security

• In transit: traffic to rawisee.com and to our email is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
• At rest: client materials are stored on access-controlled cloud services and are encrypted at rest.
• Access: only Rawisee staff with a need to know can access client materials.
• Retention: contact-form messages are retained for up to 24 months. Client engagement files are retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal recordkeeping, unless a shorter period is agreed in your contract.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with data-rights laws), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses of it.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@rawisee.com from the address on file. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

rawisee.com uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies for site functionality and may set anonymous analytics cookies to count page views. We do not use cookies for advertising or for cross-site tracking.

8. International Transfers

Rawisee operates from the United States. If you contact us from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. We rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards where required.

9. Children

rawisee.com is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage for at least 14 days.
